We arrived to Venice (and these perfect views) through the Grand Canal in the most beautiful water taxi I've ever seen. It's no wonder why this city feels so romantic, even when you've just spent the last 15 hours traveling to get there.
These five, the best little travelers.
I could've hung around Burano alllll day long. The colored homes definitely lived up to all the hype. We snacked on some delicious cherries and grapes that we purchased from the prettiest little fruit market.

About to head up the bell tower in San Marco Square. Truman ended up obsessing about this bell tower and any other bell tower we saw on the trip. His favorite thing to talk about are the "brown bells" and how they are "super loud!".
We took a day and went up the Italian Alps/The Dolomites! Once again, I was blown away by the colors.
Near the top of the Dolomites. Truman saw these boats and there was no turning back.
Truman insisted on pushing the stroller the majority of the time. Not riding in it.
We took a super romantic gondola ride through the canals of Venice! Our gondolier, Christian, was so sweet with the boys and sang some beautiful Italian songs along the way which they loved.
The favorite aunt and uncle.
San Marco Square!
Me and my boys.
He calls me his "cute mom".
Around every single corner was a view like this one!
#lightleak for the win! This was taken the first morning at our villa in Venice. The boys had their own room, but of course the first thing they wanted to do in the morning was wrestle in our bed. It felt like home real fast.
Boys will be boys. Amen.
We had so much gelato on our trip... like two a day for 11 days a lot. Theo only ever picked "white" which sometimes meant yogurt, egg cream, or coconut flavored in addition to vanilla.
Truman knows what he likes! A lot of the gelato shops had ice cream garbage cans just out front, and Truman loved to yell "ICREAM TIME" each time he spotted one.
In case you were wondering if Theo enjoyed himself on the trip. He is the best little traveler.
Truman and his BFF.
We drank our fair share of Coke on this trip.
Thanks Venice, Murano, Burano, and Lido and Dolotmites for the fabulous time! We loved your food, weather, boat rides, mask making, adventuring, and breath taking views.
